Brilliant. Even better than expected.
I wish young people were exposed to great literature. This is the cultural inheritance of all English speakers. Then again, the way it is treated at universities might actually turn the young away - what British or American undergraduate could be drawn to the Canon of racist, colonialist, patriarchal, Eurocentric 'texts', etc, etc? I was they could read this alongside the critical theory nonsense. Hell, I wish I had read this as a student! But, in my forties, I took a lot of it. I highly recommend.
