Cheeky London BadBoys & Heart Stopping suspense

The Player by Nikki J Summers performed by my favourite Brits, the legendary Shane East and the gorgeous and incredible Evelyn Rose.
This is book 4 in her Soldiers Of Anarchy series which is one of my favourite of all time. I adore Nikki and I love everything she puts to paper – and the fact she has my favourite Brit Shane East cast to perform all of her delicious cheeky London boys is a match made in audio heaven.
This is by far her darkest book yet and boy she did not disappoint. Nikki is one of my unicorn of unicorn authors and is such a talented writing genius – she has built this world with such depth and colour that I’m instantly transported back to Brinton Manner and I never want to leave. She never fails to serve the best and twistiest plots, suspense, emotions, humour and epic banter, all the while giving you a swoony romance at it’s core.

It's no secret that I adore Colton King and The Joker is probably my fave book in this series – although I do love them all, but the fact that Colton and Will are like 2 peas in a pod -- both have a hilarious sense of humour and are always joking around, so it's no surprise they would fall for girls who are sisters.

We already know these two have chemistry, although Will did mess things up when he threw Bryony in the pond at the Halloween party in Colton and Shelley’s book. Will has a lot of making up to do and Bryony tries, to resist his charms – she never stood a chance. I mean who can resist a golden retriever bad-boy who falls hard and fast? Spoiler alert: she fails.

Just when small sparks start to fly, they are both kidnapped at the Halloween party, and this is where the complete mind-blowing twist really takes shape. Without giving away too much, if you’ve ever watched the movie SAW, then be prepared for the horror and gore. What’s also unique about this book is we get a 3rd POV of the real villain - The “Task Master”.

Will and Bryony are two souls destined for each other yet entangled in a web of chaos spun by the Task Master. Will really steps up, and we get to see his protective side as he and Bryony are forced together. He is her strength and anchor when things get really rough.
As they navigate the horrors of their situation, their bond grows stronger, and their love for each other soars. They were both there for each other and I loved their banter and above all their tender, swoony and of course those spicy moments.
I loved everything about Will and Bryony and true to signature Nikki form, there are so many twists and turns and I loved every minute of it!

Massive shoutout to Shane and Evelyn for their undeniable talent, and for bringing this masterpiece to life in the best possible way. They are perfectly cast in their roles: they blew me away!

Shane absolutely owns this series, I’ve said this before, but it’s like Nikki wrote this with him in mind – he really brought Will to life with the cheeky London BadBoy charm that I adore so much. His ability to switch between characters is seamless especially since he was also performing as the Task master and wow was he creepy!

Evelyn Rose is new to this series and she was brilliant in her performance as Bryony. She captures every nuance of Bryony's character, from her sass to her vulnerability, with such authenticity and I absolutely have such a girl crush on her and can’t wait to listen to more of her especially with Shane – they are amazing as they deliver some of the swooniest and heart-melting moments you can ever hope for and I’m well and truly hooked!

Kudos to Nikki for this incredible story and to Shane and Evelyn for bring it to life in the most phenomenal way! I can’t wait for Tyler’s book, I know it’s going to be exceptional!
