Classic Alliott with an excellent narrator

Excellent narration and an enjoyable story of friendship and love. Great bit of escapism.

Not her best

I was expecting so much more after reading a number of Catherine Alliott‘s books but this read was lacklustre and too long when so ordinary. Disappointing.
