The perfect retreat
I love the book was available in audible.
It was a fantastic book, with fantastic characters and beautiful scenery as described exceptionally well.
I can’t recommend this book enough, It was captivating, I had trouble putting it down ❤️🙌
I hope everyone who gets to read it enjoyed it as much as I did 😊🙏🥰🫶

Easy feel good listen
A good easy listen with an engaging storyline. Just wish the narrator was not so serious all the time. There were some obviously funny or light hearted moments that were narrated in an end of the world tone and lost their levity. Would still recommend though.

Variety of tone and accents
The character accents were very well done, not over produced or too exaggerated. The story had variety and lots of threads that were pulled together nicely

Not your usual simplistic, overly predictable romance
The plot and characters had a wonderful depth of complexity to them. A pleasant change from the predictable romance books out there. I listened to it via Audible and I have to make a comment about the truly amazing skills of the reader. The accents were impeccable and authentic. This was a large part of what made the book enjoyable.

Absolutely loved this!
This has everything. Fantastic storyline & cast of characters, drama & romance. A happy ending after some growth but not saccharin. I’m putting this author on my must read!

My favourite book this year
Picture yourself in a charming countryside retreat, sipping tea and getting lost in a story that's as comforting as a warm blanket. The characters feel like old friends, and the plot keeps you guessing until the last page. It's the perfect read for when you need a little escape from reality.
