About this listen
To rescue her friend from a loveless marriage, a daring woman dons a disguise and finds herself captivated by a mysterious rake in this "perfect Regency romance" from award-winning author Anne Gracie.
In three years on the marriage market, Grace Merridew has never met a man whose kiss stirred her senses. So she makes plans for a life of adventure instead - to see the moon rise over the pyramids of Egypt and dance amid the marble ruins of Greece. But first she must help a friend in need....
Timid Melly Pettifer is being forced to marry Dominic Wolfe, who stands to inherit a huge estate if he weds. The Wolfes have a terrible reputation, and if there's one thing Grace cannot stand, it's a bully. When Melly begs for assistance in escaping her impending nuptials, Grace acts as the plain and mousy chaperone on their visit to the groom-to-be. But when they arrive nothing is as they expect, and Grace is scandalized to find herself being pursued by a big bad Wolfe....
Contains mature themes.

Great Story and Characters
This 4th book in the series is a wonderful edition to the Merridew sisters tales. And Although you can listen to each independently it is great to read in order and let the characters develop through the books.
This book has romance, happiness, sadness and depth.
very well written. I just love Anne Gracie books. And Heather Wilds is an excellent narrator
Give this one a go - it is worth it

Great story but…..
Great series but this last one made me feel like I’d strolled into a mills and boon. Too heavy a hand with the sex scenes which were ladled on with a trowel. I skipped many pages trying to get to what was basically a good story. I loved the first book in this series. But by the fourth I was getting quite bored.

The Perfect Kiss
This is a lovely story about Grace and Dominic. They are just brilliant characters and the interwoven story of other characters brought love and laughter. I almost wished I was there. Anne Gracie has a wonderful ability in her writing to just make an escape into her world. I loved the narrator as well. Her inflection in the various parts was very clever. I cannot impress on you enough to read this story

Not my favourite
I like this author and enjoyed the series but this book was a letdown. Dominic is a pushy overbearing lug, and Grace switched around enough to give me whiplash. I could see she was trying to write a strong hero but he just was self. I kept wanting Grace to say no and mean it, and him actually respect it!

My least favourite
I really didn't enjoy this final book in the Merridew sisters series.
I found Dominic to be a bit of a creeper and Grace to be flighty and definitely not the strong and wilful character she has been built up to be.
Overall, very disappointing.
