Publisher's Summary

Broken hearts do not fully heal. Even if they are mended, fissures remain, and over time, pressure can split open old wounds.

There was a time when Isabelle and I were solid. There was a time when it was just the two of us against the world. I ignored the cracks beneath the surface. Now, everything is different. They are after us, and they are not going to give up no matter what. They have more resources, more man-power, more strength.

What do we have? We used to have each other, but now...I’m no longer certain we have even that.

What happens when the new life we tried to build shatters once and for all?

The series is worth it but the ending is rushed

In the book the main F & M characters relationship grows. They have to deal with what their future is going to look like. This book is fast paced and has a few moments where you ask yourself omg what's about to happen! The romance isn't as passionate as the other books.
I will say I am left feeling bleh about the rushed, quick resolution to the crime/main story line, it leaves out a lot of details in the end considering the series build up, leaving one with a "what just happened" thought at the conclusion.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
