Fun book
This was a fun book that was great for a listen in an airplane. Uncomplicated but at times a bit unbelievable but fun nonetheless.

Light hearted and very enjoyable
Fiona narrates this fun and enjoyable story in such a delightful way that I couldn’t wait to find time to listen to it.
Sophia creates characters that are always up to mischief and full of drama but I always have such a happy feeling as I listen to her books.
I think that this has been my favourite Sophia Kinsella Book and I always find them fun and lighthearted.

I listened to this book in one day. It’s told with Whit, warmth and some fantastic laugh out loud moments. A really enjoyable listen

Awesome narration
Fiona Hardingham one of my favourite narrators!
A light story with a few laughs, but not much of a romance. A bit over the top in some parts.

Fun & quirky
A lovely story about family, divorce & love. The characters really come alive & I could visualise the old house and gardens so beautifully.

A Family Story
Family is at the heart of this story. In true family style, Sophie Kinsella inflates the lowest stakes imaginable to life or death. And I was hanging on every word. Very good narration.

A light and fun read!
A throughly enjoyable read that was light and fun - predictable ending but adds to the overall positive experience.

Weak character and story
The main character is one of those who gets herself into really embarrassing and awkward situations you can see a mile away. If you like that you’ll like the book.

Lame plot
Sophie is one of my favourite authors but this story is dire. The plot is so threadbare and lame . The middle of the book when `Effie is crashing the party is the best. But overall it is hard to care that the plot is based on a grown adult trying to find her childhood dolls .
