Reader has very poor English accents
Wish I’d read reviews before I purchased this. The readers Lame attempt at the English accent makes it almost unlistenable.

Excellent
I started with misgivings on hearing an American accent (albeit slight) but soon became totally enthralled and have since searched for more books narrated by Mr Harrison. Love his work.

Reader's British accent awful
can I have my money back? Most disappointed at narration. in the cemetery where Wodehouse is buried his fellow residents must be calling him spinning Wodehouse as he surely must be spinning in his grave if he's heard this narration.

Ignore this collection
Would you try another book written by P. G. Wodehouse or narrated by B. J. Harrison?
Not at all... if the author was english. BJ Harrison does not understand the English language written by an English Author. It is so annoying that I had to stop playing this as I kept getting angry at the inability to pronounce names of people. Take Chiswick.... an american will say... Chis Wick which is NOT right... Chisick is how this is pronounced. There are many errors like this and also... an american trying to do the english accent is just not pleasant to my ears. An american person probably would not know the difference. If there is an american author that BJ Harrison has done I would be interested... just not an english one.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jeeves and Wooster
What didn’t you like about B. J. Harrison’s performance?
trying to do an English accent and mis pronounce the English names and places.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The P.G. Wodehouse Collection?
the whole book unless it was done by a native english speaker
Any additional comments?
unhappy i have bought it. I was on a long 12 hour drive and had it on for some time and it just made me more and more upset.

Narrator unsuitable for Wodeshouse
Woodhouse's stories are among the funniest portrayals of life among the British well-to-do and the narrator needs to have the upper class accent & light delivery to convey Bertie Wooster's amiable but clueless nature & Jeeves' stately demeanor.
The narrator has a curious mid-Atlantic accent and he plods along with the merest hint of colour or humour. Hugh Laurie would be a perfect narrator; his performance in Three Men in a Boat is gloriously funny. B J Harrison is not gloriously funny, or winning, merely colourless.
