Brilliant

I wish everyone could read this book. It could be life changing. Little known information about the harm of breathing through the mouth - especially for children. Brilliantly researched and presented. With simple exercises to counteract the damage.

Breathing exercises

Good content but it’s over described and repetitive .. it is basically saying you need less oxygen and gives you exercises to do it. I’m Just writing this to meet the 15 word limit

I have applied the knowledge to my life and my clients and I'm so happy with the results and could not recommend this and other Patrick's books enough.

Excellent read.

Another great book on the power of the breath. A great follow up after Breath by James Nestor as it focuses on the performance side of breathing as well as overall health.

Breath-giving info- how to breathe to support life

I've been studying breathing for about a year now, out of necessity having developed asthma during the bushfires of 2019/20 in Australia This was on top of breathing problems that I've had since an accident as a toddler.
My doctor diagnosed asthma and since I don't do drugs she suggested I look into Buteyko Breathing which took me to Patrick McKeown. The information in this book gives me the understanding I need to find my way back to breathing well. In my last GP visit she could not hear any crackling in my lungs, as well I can walk up hill easier. I'm not there yet - but I am on the way.
As for performance - I find in some chapters Alan Smyth speaks a bit too fast so I feel tense when I'm listening. But otherwise he's a good narrator.
