Publisher's Summary
The swamp is about to get a whole lot hotter.
After a tragedy, Finn Hollis escapes into the swamp to be alone. That is until Sawyer Dixon shows up, all scorching hot innocence, claiming she owns the land less than 50 feet from his front door. Sawyer gets under his skin, but, even worse - she makes him crave things. Things Finn hasn't thought about in a very, very long time. Finn wants Sawyer gone. Almost as much as he wants her in his bed.
Originally slated to be a stand-alone, The Outskirts is now book one of a duet. The Outliers is the title of book two.

Such a beautiful story & really captivating.
Another great performance by Lance & June. Another wonderful story by TM Frazier.
This story was unique & interesting the whole way through. I really loved the characters & depth of each individual. I was glad a sequel was made as it would’ve ended too abruptly otherwise. I can’t wait to listen to the second book immediately!

hmmmmm
ok, I've listened to the king series and the preppy books and the the writing was bloody awesome. but this book, well....it made me feel like Ms Frazier had run out of creative juice, perhaps using it all on her other books.
I just couldn't connect with Sawyer and Finn. it was so fast and seemed to jump ahead in leaps and bounds with no explanation. there was more of Sawyers introspection than Finns which I felt disgruntled about as he seemed to hold more pain that Sawyer. and it was his town, his friends his tragedy....it went from hating, to naked to kiss to accident to hate to truth to money to friends to sex to happy to truth to plot twist to cliffhanger in a small, amount of hours. All to fast with not near enough depth of characters.
it felt like a skipping stone across the wiater , touching down and skimming again only to touch down in a few more
places.. perhaps if we had more time then the characters could and would grow on me. and I really needed more of Finns introspection.
now, that being said and after deciding not to get no.2, I'm left with unanswered questions a humdinger of a plot twist....twice!!!! and how the hell are they gonna sort this mess out....
gotta finish it, I can't not. I I love Ms Fraziers writing and even though this isn't dark and gritty like her other books
I have to finish her plot.
great narrator's. lance gets a little too excited with his Inflections as I see Finn more like a Jacob Morgan style voice, but again not enough of him to get going. slow build...maybe 2 will bee on fire????

Outskirts
It's been a while since I had a book that captured my attention so fully that I couldn't put it down if I wanted to. The cover drew me to this book, I was already a huge fan of T.M. Frazier so it was no surprise that this book was amazing!!

Outskirts
Not as dark as some of her other books but still a great storyline and great characters! Loved the connection between the hero and heroine and their friends.
