Critic Reviews

What an incredible read. Pammie was such a compelling and unique villain . . . It's a definite must-read this summer! (Hollie Overton, author of Baby Doll)
Thoroughly entertaining. Pammie is the mother-in-law from hell! (Michelle Frances, number one bestselling author of The Girlfriend)
The Other Woman is an absolute corker – wickedly relatable story, wonderful characters and a great twist. Should definitely be on your reading list for this summer (TM Logan bestselling author of Lies)
The Other Woman knocked my socks off! Psychological suspense at its most addictive, with a shocker of an ending. I couldn’t put it down! (Michele Campbell, author of It's Always the Husband)
A nice twist. I enjoyed the increasingly barbed exchanges between the mother and the prospective daughter in law – I think a lot of readers will probably identify with events in the book! (Jojo Moyes)
A twisty, deliciously fun read (Sarah Pekkanen, bestselling author of The Wife Between Us)

Pick your mother in-law wisely! Or your husband...

This was an awesome read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lengths people go to to protect the ones you love is undeniably powerful in this one. I definitely recommend this book.

Omg... Another brilliant hello sunshine book.

I thought the book was a liitle slow to start but boy I wasn't expecting that ending. So glad I didn't give up after the first 2 chapters.

I thought it would be less predictable

Given all the amazing ratings I thought it would be a thrilling unbelievably twisty story. But I found the “twists” predictable and obvious and some of the reasons for a character to stay silent about explosive information to be a little preposterous.

The only redeeming factor of this book was the excellent narration. The ending fell a little flat and was a little ridiculous.

Gripping but disappointed

Gripping story, but disappointed by the ending. The twist at the end felt lazy and didn't really feel like it fit with the rest of the narrative that was developing

Great story

That storyline was great, toe curling and honestly made me even more thankful for my mother in law. The end was extremely rushed and ridiculous. Its sad because it deserved so much more than that. Its the authors debut novel so I forgive her rush. I hope she rewrites the end to something better.

We have all experienced this other woman

Even if it isn't you et ersonal experience everyone knows a Pammy. The mother-in-law who is so sweet until no one else is around and then the true character appears. I enjoyed the characters and their relationships. I did not find the twist believable and had hoped for a different ending. If someone is meant to be controlling then I need to to see it not be told it at the end. I just feel the story was not as cohesive as it needed to be.

A bit rushed toward the end

The book dragged in parts and then finished quite suddenly. Not a bad book, just not my favourite.
