About this listen

Emma has been at the orphanage since she was a baby. Now six years old, she finally has a chance at the life she has always wanted. But Christmas tragedy strikes, and Emma is forced into a new home, where she is unwanted.

As she lives a life of despair, she meets William, a footman for a local estate. Their chance meeting fills a void in Emma's life, and she looks forward to seeing him. And when she is once again cast aside and unwanted, she takes a chance that William will take her in.

But as she is turned away at the estate, she fears that she may not survive the night in chilling cold, until William comes to her rescue. But William has lied to Emma, and he fears she may not forgive him.

As Christmas nears, Emma knows she needs a miracle to survive, but she's not sure William is able to give her Christmas hope or the miracle she so desperately needs.
