About this listen

Young Erasmus Cromwell-Smith II’s adventure happens inside of Venice’s San Marco Square’s astrological clock. Exactly a year after his first quest in Prague’s astrological clock, together with the same band of five harlequin-dressed youngsters, he experiences a city filled with wizards, enchanters, witches, conjurers, and an evil gnome. The youngsters seek clues in order to reach the mysterious the church of St. Giorgio Maggiore across Venice’s basin and become “young wizards”. Once more they are guided in their quest by the Orloj, the old clock, as well as Buggie and Thumpbee, his sons. Through the wicked streets and channels of Venice, the six harlequins must find six statues representing each of the human virtues of humility, perseverance and grit, loyalty, forgiveness, and the human flaws of holding grudges and betrayal. Only after they successfully master them will they earn the clues to reach the church of St. Giorgio Maggiore.

The Orloj of Venice is a magical tale filled with nonstop action and thrills, as well as timeless wisdom through nine unforgettable fables and poems.
