Highly detailed but expansive overview of almost everything. Narrator a bit dry.
Loved the way the writing took the reader deep into the rabbit hole in places. Having read a few similar books on these topics I enjoyed learning several new concepts not covered in other expansive attempts by other authors. The Narrator successfully delivered the writing but was a little dry and mispronounced a few terms. But it didn’t overly detract. Enjoyed!

A short history covers an awful lot of depth so well
It only scratches the surface, but there’s a lot of surface and I’ve at least got some knowledge of the size of the surface

Expansive yet not too so
The author takes a very long view, without over emphasis on only humanity, while explaining simply the geophysical causes of the changes occurring throughout.
