The Optician’s Wife a rollercoaster ride!!!
This story makes you cry, laugh, feel anger and pity. Not to mention the AMA ing twists and turns that have you guessing all the way to the very end of the final chapter.
Thank you Betsy Reavley this story is thrilling and scary in its high level of realism and human frailty. Amazing story!!!!

Creepy
I guessed the ending so that takes off points.kinda creepy and very gnarly. I did and I didn’t enjoy it. I guess the ending in the beginning of all books and if the author surprises me, I’m happy and they get 5 stars…this one didn’t do that. Daisy was the only surprise, although an unrelevant one.

Distasteful
I cant believe I actually listened to the entirety of this book.
Disliked her from the start but felt a sort of pity for her and hoped all would turn out ok. How wrong could I be!
such an awful twist that i never saw coming.
Narrator did a great job.
