Lots of lovely happily ever afters
Nancy moved to her friend Carmen’ s house to escape her cheating husband.
It was something that was going to happen, but a lawn mower as a Christmas present sealed the deal.
The girlfriend got the diamond....
I loved the brashness and humour of Rene.
I loved the sassiness of Mia.
Carmen trying to be normal was quite tragic.
The men she found went from one extreme to the other.
Nancy’s mother was sweet and caring. She can come and live with me anytime.
A live- in, cook and bottle-washer - what a treasure!

Easy and enjoyable story
Great story, lovely characters and gave me a few laughs too. Easy and enjoyable listening. Glad I fount this one.

Disappointing
I usually escape when listening to Jill Mansell books but this one is not worth a credit. Predictable and drawn out, and the narrator’s character voices were a struggle to bear, Sorry but this one is a miss
