Publisher's Summary

The no. 1 bestseller from Australia's favourite novelist, author of the Scarecrow series and the Jack West Jr series with new novel Mr Einstein's Secretary out now.

THE END IS HERE

Jack West Jr has made it to the Supreme Labyrinth.

Now he faces one last race - against multiple rivals, against time, against the collapse of the universe itself - a headlong race that will end at a throne inside the fabled labyrinth.

AN IMPOSSIBLE MAZE

But the road will be hard.

For this is a maze like no other: a maze of mazes. Uncompromising and complex. Demanding and deadly.

A CATACLYSMIC CONCLUSION

It all comes down to this.

For it ends here - now - in the most lethal and dangerous place Jack has encountered in all of his many adventures. And in the face of this indescribable peril, with everything on the line, there is only one thing he can do.

Attempt the impossible.

Nice Ending to the Series

This is the book we had to have.
This carries straight on from 2LM into the final action burst.
1IL is written with the same tempo and ferocity as the previous books.

Narrated superbly

Wraps the Series up nicely 👌

Another Triumph!!

It may have taken a while, but I finally finished this one. It kept my ears glued to my headphones and my mind’s eye busy seeing the action. Well worth the read, even if you aren’t a MR fan (although who couldn’t be?). And again, Sean Mangan’s hypnotic voice just made it for me. 10/10.

Great series

The books are wonderful. The way the story follows is great. It’s amazing how Matthew has woven in all the ancient myths and legends. The only thing I would say is the readers movement in the chair and being able to hear the chair squeeze did affect my story at times.

Nice conclusion.

Story wise, excellent as per usual for Mr Reilly. A very satisfying end to a very great series.
I just hope one day I can listen to it with a different story teller. Sean is absolutely horrible as a narrator. So monotonous that I’ve nearly fallen asleep a couple of times because of his droning voice. That why he gets the one star, everything else is 5 stars.

Full Circle

Mathew Reilly has nailed the last book in the Jack West Jr series. A hard hitting, fast story that answers all your questions from the six previous books in this series.

I won’t give away any spoilers, but hazard to say I bawled throughout the last fifteen minutes of book seven, The One Impossible Labyrinth. A bonus for those listening to Audio, is the interview with Mathew. It gives us a personal insight of the why’s and how’s.

Go one, one spoiler and one of my favourites. All I will say is give your friend a hand.

Oh, I must mention Sean Mangan. What a voice. So glad he read them all a true champion voice actor who gave the story that extra level of suspense.

Good luck Mathew in your movie, Interceptor. If it’s anything like this series, or to be honest, any of your books, it will be a block buster for sure.

I will miss Jack West Jr, Zoey, Lilly, Smilry, Sky Monster, Easton, Alby, Iolanthy, Nobody (Brilliant character name), Pooh Bear, Tracy, Stretch, Rufas, Earnest, Bertie, and finally Lynda.

And always the badies, Chloe, Raster, Ezekiel, Dion, Mendoza, Vandels, Sphinx, and so many more.

Now, to start reading them again!

The series that got me into reading

From someone who hates reading, i got gifted 7 ancient wonders and didnt touch it for a few years. When i finally got around to reading it out of pure boredom, i got sucked into the world of Jack West Jr. i found myself reading a lot of Matthew Reilly's books and to my surprise wanting more. Now that this series is finally finish i can actually say this was an awesome series and it ended perfectly. I'm still not much of a reader and i will only read Matthew Reilly's books, nothing else interests me (but at least its a start, thanks Matt).
I highly recommend this entire series.
Also, Sean Mangan is a great narrator and im glad he did all the books!
