Publisher's Summary

Born prematurely, Christoff wasn't as big or as strong as his older brother or the other younglings in the village. Unable to fit in, he does the best he can, helping his father and mother on their farm. His life changes when the mountain near their farm awakens. Believing he is the only one who can quiet it, he retreats to the mountain to watch over the village that shunned him.

A hermit for centuries, he dreams of the day he can move on to his next life - a life that he hopes will give him a chance to find his true mate. He knows his time has come when the mountain begins to tremble again. What he doesn't expect is a group of younglings who suddenly appear in the hopes of saving something called Christmas. When the mountain erupts, he never expects to awaken on a strange planet lightyears away, or to meet an unusual woman who sees beneath his deformity to the warrior hidden within.

Can the love of a special woman and her family heal Christoff's tortured soul? Find out what happens when the Goddess Aikaterina gives the Old Dragon his very own special Christmas.

This collection includes the bonus novella A Dragonlings' Magical Christmas, in which the Dragonlings Roam and Alice have suddenly disappeared. Now their parents are in a race to find them before they're lost forever.

Enchanting

I love the story of the old dragon finding his mate at long last. Kristof the way he was treated when when he was a youngling made me cry and mad as hell, but i am so happy that the Goddess Aikaterina interfered, i won't say anymore so not to spoil for others. David Brenin you are an amazing narrator and i say it again, you have the sexiest voice ever (sighs) ;) thanks Susan and David for another amazing story. Oh and its great listening to the dragonlings, Roam and Alice again in their adventures and their hapless daddies and of course their beautiful Mommies xox

Not one to listen to when driving.

Not one to listen to when driving.
Narrator does a good job with this one but definitely not one to listen to when driving.
I cry every time I read this book but boy, did I bawl listening to the beginning of this story.
The rest of the story after the Dragonlings visit has a soft smile on my face.
BOOK REVIEW
WOW. JUST WOW
I have loved every one of Susan’s books but this one was just fantastic.
I cried reading about Christoff’s childhood bullying and how his own brother wanted to kill him. The intolerance of the villagers and how they treated him was dreadful.
Luckily his parents loved him and knew there was more to him than what others thought or said but when he lost his parents, well, thank god for tissues.
Edna has been known to us since book one and it was a pleasant surprise that she was the heroine of this book. A nicer lady it would be hard to find.
Thankfully Aikaterina bought them together and what a perfect couple they made.
His interaction with Crystal was another fabulous part of this story.
You can read this as a standalone but it will mean so much more if you have read the previous books in this series.
