LIFE CHANGING!!!!!
This is your first step to finally losing weight. Dr Fung has figured out the truth.
I am insulin resistant (pre-diabetic) menopausal and have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, three of the biggest weight gain obstacles, and I am now FINALLY seeing results after years of following the horrendously wrong advice!
I am down 10 kgs and steadily losing .5kg per week.
I also recommend Gin Stephens - Delay Don't Deny and AC - Appetite Correction - Bert ???? both available on Audible.

Life Changing!
This book is fantastic! As an obese Diabetes Type 2 sufferer, I had just about given up hope of fixing it. I'm about 2 months into following the advice in this book and it's been amazing. I read the companion book to this one, The Diabetes Code, directly after reading this one, and I can't recommend both highly enough. If you're obese or diabetic, read both!
I've lost 12kg (26.4lbs) in 2 months - well over 10% of my total body weight - and it's still coming off. Blood sugar down from about 16mmol/L (290mg/dl) to about 6mmol/L (110mg/dl) too. It's pretty amazing! The advice is not particularly hard to follow either; it's certainly way easier than any other weight loss program I've tried before. It's do-able and doesn't take much will-power.
This book is just life changing!
UPDATE: I just wanted to add an update to this review... 17 months after reading this book and adopting what it said, I've shed over 23kg and the lifestyle is the easiest to sustain that I've ever tried. I'm at a healthy weight and my doctor described it as miraculous (not exaggerating, that's the exact word he used). My blood sugar is in the normal range now and the diabetes is in remission. I credit this book with saving my life.

Has changed me for the better
I purchased this book as I wanted a medical interpretation of why we are getting more and more fatter around the world and what we can do about it. As I have gotten older I too have experienced weight creep. Jason's book has provided me with that kick start I needed to change my eating and lifestyle habits. Even though I was largely eating the right foods I certainly wasn't eating them at the right times. I have now embraced Intermittent Fasting as a lifestyle. I feel Jason has found the missing link as to why the world is getting fatter, including myself, and I thank him for that.

Definitely worth a listen!
It has taken me a long time to discover this book! Anyone who has ever tried to lose weight must listen to this. Jason Fung describes and unpacks the misconceptions we all hold about weight loss and obesity. An easy to follow break down of studies and comparative analysis. A must read for society. Spread this around please!

Life changing
Firstly, the narrator of this book was excellent. I really enjoyed listening to him. He had perfect pitch, rhythm, accent, and kept me focused on the content.
Secondly, in relation to the content, it was very informative, factual and evidence based. I loved how the book only refers to studies conducted on humans and does not include animal studies.
This book is so good that immediately upon finishing it I have commenced intermittent fasting…. Something that I had previously thought I would NEVER do! But how could I not with this new found knowledge and understanding?!
Would highly recommend this book to everyone!

Awesome book and narrator
Loved it. Very enlightening book based on cientific evidence. The tips and fasting plan sample were great for clarification. One of the best narrators I heard in Audible. Enjoyed every second of the book. Definitely recommend it!
