Set on Ohlone Island in the San Francisco Bay,island inhabitants Lorna and Annie have a penchant for discovering fraud, corruption, and murder.
In episode 37, "Let's Torch It", to Sally's shock and horror there's a new European bakery and cafe, Auld Alliance, on Ohlone Island. But for Annie and Lorna it's a great new place to have lunch, until they figure out what Sally already knows about the owners. Meanwhile, Sally and Michael clandestinely continue piecing together the puzzle of the satellite device and the Nurse toes tries to keep her hand in the game.
In episode 38 "Parents Trap", as the nurse plays her final card on Pearce to set up the Hayward, Sally's past unfolds for Annie when an unlikely duo show up on her doorstep and there is no doubt who they came to see or why. The chaos that ensues causes everyone to rethink their plans and may finally bond them together as a team again. Or not.
In episode 39 "The Driver Died", Sally'sworking for both sides of the coin comes to a head and the hunt is on for Pearce. With Annie fully on board now, the final plan is in place and, oddly enough, Wallace and Eunice save the day. And in the final short, "Just Play Along", Annie and Lorna use Sally's newest diversion tofurther their own agenda and learn something new about the neighborhood and it's inhabitants.
