Publisher's Summary

2045, the Arctic Circle. A crew of six aboard the research vessel, The Nox, embark upon a voyage through the melting ice and Arctic dark in search of the last of the polar bears. The mission represents a ray of hope in a world ravaged by climate change, but it quickly becomes clear that some on board are in search of more than bears....

Isolation and the disorientation of 24/7 darkness soon have the group losing their grip on reality – accidents, nightmares, or hauntings – no one can be sure, but the voyage seems cursed. For Professor Clara Fitzgerald, the mission quickly turns from conservation to survival as she realises that danger lurks not only out on the ice, but on The Nox itself.

The Nox is a nightmare fuelled SciFi thriller that asks how far is too far to save the world.

Tense, listen with headphones!

What a great story, told serially (but without the wait!)
The sound effects were quite good, and better than most in this genre. The voice-actors were all commendable. (They even sprung for an *ACTUAL* Aussie to play the girl from Perth - so , naturally her accent was spot-on!
A nice thriller to kill a few hours!

Still don’t understand what it was about

Really hard to follow at times. Background wind noises (part of the performance) made it really difficult to hear the dialogue at times.

Bland

Bunch of typical "audible" style characters go on an ill advised quest to save the world and it all goes wrong.
Starts out average but the last half is mostly characters mumbling to themselves as they wander around in a daze.

Contains this gem "Fear is the old emotion we've discovered the second oldest is hope" lol what?

It does have an interesting setting and some creepy audio at points though.

hard to follow

I found it hard to follow that action of the character throughout the story and hard to finish, however the voices actors was good.

Frustrating to listen to

I Nearly gave up several times but persisted because it was only a few hours. The Aussie girl was the best but the others overacted too much.

Good thing it was free too

Sorry but what the heck was happening at the end?... really I should say through out the whole thing but the ending was SO confusing it outshines the rest.
How the heck did she not die from hypothermia herself... but most importantly, HOW on earth did she manage to scape Ursula I when she was surrounded by a "pack" of bears?! Did she though Rebecca for the bear?
Yet again, how did she survive her encounter with the bear? she took a beating, took it down with 1 tranquiliser and then straight back into RUNNING again? aaaand the baby was just fine?! like what?!?
