Liked everything! The understanding of the narrative and no undue emphasis on any aspect. Easy listening pace.

Quite the most fun journey
Lots of twists and turns to the end. Not a witticism misread. Believably voiced characters. I was hooked!

Lively characters create a good story
There are a number of main characters in this story who interact beautifully to generate a lively tale. Well read by James Lailey. An amusing book.

Clear portrayals of all the characters
Fab Heyer. Really enjoy this reading. Though not my favourite Heyer, still do love Sir Waldo and Miss Trent.

awful narration
The story was charming and entertaining Georgette Heyer as you would expect.
The narration was prissy and old fashioned. We need lush, wry amusing women narrating Ms Heyer's books - like Venetia, for example.
This was hard to listen to. I do not recommend it with this narrator.
