Another brilliant novel

Absolutely love the two Peter’s work, hands down one of my favourite authors and narrators. This story is gritty, thrilling, devastatingly real and yet very compassionate. The pace, characters and Asian underworld made for addictive listening. You just get totally immersed into each of the many exotic locations and some very frightening situations, it’s like you are there with them, heart racing to boot! The accents as always brought each and every player into life. Thanks a million, please keep them coming!

Not Peter May’s best

Enjoyed it but a little too long winded compared to his other books, felt like the outcome was never coming

Different yet enjoyable

Not a book I would normally listen to however I am glad that I made the choice. Author had a beautiful and clear voice (which can make or break a book). Storyline kept me interested and it was written in such a way that I could picture the environment in my mind. Ending was satisfying. The book was enjoyable enough that I would read more of Peter May's novels.

I love Peter May and Peter Forbes combo but...

I found it hard getting into this book even though I am a Peter May and Peter Forbes fan. I think I just can't stand the ignorance of Lisa and find it hard to understand the path she took.
I can't finish it so will return it.
