About this listen

In 1986, 13-year-old Sacha Vasiliev dies in a crash with his father. He enters the other side of life and he is given a choice, stay there or go back. In the afterlife he remembers what he had agreed to do upon entering this life. He makes the decision to return to his life.

After a long recovery, he awakens and discovers that he is different. He now knows things and discovers his very powerful psychic abilities. Then years later, his mother remarries and he finishes school. With his mother safe, he makes the decision to leave Romania and travel to Russia.

In Russia, he meets with a KGB operative and is tested.

His advisor, Maliki Avon, an upper chief in the Division of Secret Programs, sits him down and explains that he has a choice now. If he decides to work for Russia, it is like entering the mouth of a dragon. Once swallowed, there is no going back to a normal life.

Sacha knows what he has to do.

It is his life's mission.

For in 35 years to come, a worldwide virus will plague humanity and almost wipe out the entire population. It is his mission to help the remaining survivors find a new way to live.
