Publisher's Summary

The sixth volume in the award-winning Tomorrow series.

"I lay there, heart still pounding from the shock of seeing the man surrender and then get killed, the shock of seeing so much blood, more blood than I'd even seen from one person before...."

They are the enemy. And they're still out there. They're in your street, your home, the safest places you know. You feel their hot breath, even in the depths of hell. Ellie and Homer are out there too. Lee and Fi and Kevin. They've forgotten what it means to be safe. Sometimes they feel like there's nowhere left for them. They may be right.

Critic Reviews

"There are plenty of dramatic, fast-paced battle scenes with lots of action and carnage, which is vividly depicted. Ellie wrestles with her conscience throughout the story." (School Library Journal)

Gripping story, perfect pacing.

I read some of these books in primary school, but I'm finally past where I got up to then, and the suspense is real, as is the surprise with the twists and turns in the narrative. The narration is perfectly paced, and brings the story alive with both humour and suspense brilliantly executed.

Fantastic Series, Well worth the listen

definatly well worth the purchase, it is a shame to see it come to a end eventually but, John Marsden really makes you feel a part of the book through his ability to write.
The good part is being able to pick up the book after a few days and know where you are as i only listen to it on the plane to and from work

Got through it for the next one

This book feel like Marsden ran out of ideas and just needed a filler. I am looking forward to the next one and hope it is better.
I also feel as though Ellie should be maturing a little more than is written (man she is irritating).
As usual, the narrator was pretty bad.

Love This Series But this book is slow

amazing author, great series, great narrator but this book feels like filler unfortunately compared to the other books in the series it's the only book I have felt bored with and wishing it was over despite this I still love the tommorow series it's a personal favourite. still worth the read
