Refreshing, New and Exciting
I have really struggled to finish a fantasy book recently, I find they all feel like cheap imitations of the same story over and over. This book however was really enjoyable, I finished it in a week! The characters are likeable (or dislikable in the case of the villains), the writing is excellent and does not feel predictable or painful to read. The plot is about as fast paced as you would expect from the first book in a fantasy series, where one has to account for world building. The world building was also easy to follow, and enjoyable.

Love in its purest form
I loved reading about two women coming into their own power, in ways that they did not expect. The love, loyalty, and friendship between Nox and Amaris is evident in every action and reaction to the vsrious challenges that are thrown at each of them.
I have already purchased book 2, and am loading it up to play next.

this is a effortless vivid and often poetc journey in to a ritch world that will have you aching for more. great performance from the reader.
