Every conversation is an opportunity to connect

I have been following Jefferson Fisher on social media for quite some time. I loved his little bite-size bits of informative advice on managing relationships through conversation. When i heard he had written a book AND there was an audiobook - well, i signed up to purchase it the day it came out!
Jefferson offers insightful, easy to action mini-shifts in conversation to help us all work through the pitfalls of poor communication, allowing us the opportunity to connect with our colleagues, friends, loved ones and even strangers in a more authentic and approachable manner. He’s also got that lovely west Texas drawl which makes it nice to listen to his lovely reminiscing and helpful advice.
In our fractured world it’s so refreshing to have a resource like “The Next Conversation” to act as a catalyst to improve relationships through thoughtful conversation. Thank you Jefferson. Your insight and care are what this crazy world needs right now.

A memorable book

The best ideas I’ve heard on communication. Every example in here I could relate to myself. Especially how I was guilty of all of each of them, but the book is definitely a driver for change. It would honestly be hard not to love this book.

Practical communication techniques

I have been following this author on social media and find his material highly relevant to my own communication needs. I appreciate his positive and approachable manner. This first book goes deeper than his free materials and he gives examples and the reasoning behind his suggestions in a way that most will understand.
