About this listen
The Zondervan Biblical and Theological Lectures series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, New Testament in Antiquity: Audio Lectures include high quality live-recordings of college-level lectures that cover the important points from each subject as well as relevant material from other sources.
New Testament in Antiquity: Audio Lectures skillfully develops how Jewish, Hellenistic, and Roman cultures formed the essential environment in which the New Testament authors wrote their books and letters. Listeners will learn how understanding the land, history, and culture of this world brings remarkable new insights into how we read the New Testament itself.
Throughout the audio lectures, authors Gary Burge and Gene Green provide windows into the first-century world. They further discuss issues of interpretation derived from cultural observations.

A brief overview of the New Testament
A brief introduction to the New Testament and each of the 27 books.
Personally I found them a little brief and prefer the separate course/audio_books that deal with each book in more detail, but these are of course a useful overview.
I would prefer if this are not split into two parts.
Also, it would be nice if audible could add names to the chapters in the app rather than just stating chap 1, chap 2... The chapters are:
1. Paul of Tarsus: Life and Teachings
2. The Letter to the Galatians
3. 1 and 2 Thessalonians
4. 1 Corinthians
5. 2 Corinthians
6. The Letter to the Romans
7. Colossians and Ephesians
8. Philippians and Philemon
9. The Pastoral Letters: 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus
10. The Letter to the Hebrews
11. The Letter of James
12. 1 and 2 Peter and Jude
13. The Letters of John
14. The Revelation of John
15. The Preservation and Communication of the New Testament
