The Best One Since ‘The Black Echo’
I’ve been listening to the Bosch series for a while now and really like them all but up until now nothing was close to the first one. I’d even go as far as saying this is the best one I’ve listened to

Blending of chapters
Nothing at all in this book was negative. I liked the story and the way it moved between chapters

Great book. Silly performance features
I was distracted by the music and sound effects at the end and start of each chapter. A silly feature. This should not occur. I persevered because it is a great book but would not have if I had not known the author. Don’t do it

Clumsy Bosch
The story portrays Harry as having lost some competence since he left the force. The reader can see what's going to happen next but Harry is caught out. Let's hope he gets his act back together soon. Not the best Bosch.

Better and better...
You think you have it worked out, then BAM! Another twist! Sitting on the edge of your seat is too mild of a description! I hate it when the books come to an end! Fabulous writer, fantastic stories, amazing story lines. I feel I really know Harry Boche.
