About this listen

Do you have a narcissist, sociopath, or psychopath in your life, or think that you might?

Do you continually feel anxious around someone in your life, but can’t pinpoint why?

Do conversations seem to go off track, leaving you feeling knocked off balance and confused?

Does it feel like they are making your life a living hell, but they insist that you are too sensitive, crazy, or to blame?

Perhaps you know you are being manipulated or abused, but don’t know how to make it stop. The Narcissist’s Playbook can help.

Some of the topics covered in The Narcissist’s Playbook are:

  • What manipulation is and isn’t.
  • How to spot manipulative behaviors early (and why most people struggle with this).
  • How and why people get caught up with manipulators, and why they have a hard time breaking free.
  • How to identify the emotional “hook” that is keeping you stuck in manipulation and what you can do about it.
  • How to effectively disable manipulation as it is happening.
  • How to identify the common personality traits that are frequently exploited by manipulators.

You can take back your life. The Narcissist’s Playbook tells you how.

What an eye opener - fascinating info!

Insightful information to help you identify how you’re being treated, and how they get away with treating you as they do. How to discover the morals/attributes that are important to you, and how to set boundaries to protect yourself.

Brilliant. I’m not broken, I got played

This book is fantastic. I purchased it trying to understand manipulation, and accusations of being manipulative that I was struggling to comprehend. I really feel it has given me a very insightful journey of self reflection, whilst providing clarity on the behaviors and situation I was dealing with in a relationship. If you are just in the early stages of noticing manipulative tactics and gaslighting, this is a great book to help you understand the mind you are dealing with.

Surprisingly good audio book.

I love the narrations. It’s fairly soothing considering the intense topic.
The books well written and gives a great overview of narcissists, their behaviour, what to look out for and how to overcome and protect yourself.
I honestly wasn’t expecting much. But I really enjoyed this book.

People are complicated.

Author is very insightful and provides lots of examples, that solidify the context. I unfortunately I noticed that all examples are male. Like a scratch on a brand new car, I got to fixated on this. That’s my issue though. I had to keep reminding myself that it is a trait more common in males, so is logical
