About this listen
High self-esteem is a precious trait; however, some people take it a bit too far.
Growing up, we’ve all been encouraged to believe in ourselves. Having healthy self-esteem is what powers us to take risks and weather the challenges we face in life.
The problem occurs when that healthy self-confidence gets warped and distorted into something extreme; narcissism.
Explained briefly, narcissism is when someone admires themselves to the point that they don’t care about anyone else. They always need to be the center of attention. This is based on the belief that they are better than everyone else they know and as such deserve constant praise or acknowledgment.
In the narcissist’s mind, he isn’t the greatest thing since sliced bread; he is the sliced bread.
Such an exaggerated sense of self-worth has a detrimental impact on the people around them. It results in emotional abuse and daily degradation of the other person’s self-esteem.
In this book, you will learn:
- The concept of narcissism with the different types and subtypes
- Why there are more narcissists than ever
- How to identify the narcissists in your life and what are the warning signs
- The best way to deal with the narcissist in your life. There are many great examples in the book with different scenarios in a variety of possible relationships, such as with your partner, parent, sibling, boss, or even your kid.
- What are the triggers for a narcissist
This book is a step-by-step guide on how to identify someone who has narcissistic personality disorder and what do when you have identified someone like that in your life.
