Publisher's Summary
*The sparkling novel from the award-winning, million-copy bestselling author of The Maid*
A new mess.
A new mystery.
Molly the maid returns . . .
Molly Gray wears her Head Maid badge proudly for every shift at the Regency Grand Hotel, plumping pillows, sweeping up the guests’ secrets, silently restoring rooms to a state of perfection.
But when a renowned guest – a famous mystery writer – drops very dead in the grand tea room, Molly has an unusual clean-up on her hands.
As rumours and suspicion swirl in the hotel corridors, it’s clear there’s grime lurking beneath the gilt. And Molly knows that she alone holds the key to the mystery. But unlocking it means thinking about the past, about Gran, and everything else she’s kept tidied away in her memory for so long.
Because Molly knew the dead guest once upon a time – and he knew her . . .

Sweet and bittersweet.
Another fun ride at the Grand hotel. I’m enjoying this little maids journey. Love the Grandmother’s wisdom and trials. Would read the next.

Molly the Maid is a fun, easy listen
The narrator is great and this makes such a big difference to my listening enjoyment. Molly the Maid book 2 follows on 4 years after the events of Book 1. Molly has grown, learnt more social skills and how to read faces and has developed more confidence in herself. I have an 28yo son on the autism spectrum and there is much about these stories that resonate with me. Wonderful to see the character in a happy, well matched relationship with Juan. Any stories that help the general population develop an empathetic and kind understanding of people who are unique and perhaps "quirky" are a positive in my opinion. Looking forward to Book 3 and seeing how Molly's life grows.

Best book ever
I absolutely loved this book and found myself crying at the end. The narrater, oh my goodness, what can I say. Absolutely incredible. She draws you in as she masterfully introduces characters into the plot of the storyline and by the end of the book you know them intimately. Such a talent.
I am a lover of Molly the maid from the first book and was overjoyed with the ending of this one. I am left wanting more and more. Please, please give me more books staring Molly the maid.
Highly recommend this beautiful, talented author and narrator. I will definitely buy all other books that are written. Thank you.

AS GOOD AS THE FIRST
What a wonderful story. I loved delving more into Molly’s past, and how the author wove it so beautiful into the events of the day. Thoroughly enjoyed this book, and hope there’ll be a Molly the Maid 3!

Wonderfully entertaining
An excellent sequel to the first book. I really enjoyed how we learnt more about Molly’s early life and how that is woven into the story. Added to that is the inclusion of some of my favourite characters (from book 1) plus a satisfying cast of new ones.
Beautifully written with all the heart and compassion of the first book along with an intriguing and clever mystery.
And the narration is simply perfect. I would definitely search out anything Lauren Ambrose narrated.
There was nothing i didn’t not enjoy about this audiobook except when it ended.
