Great listen.
Excellent. I liked her and disliked her. She gave me good ideas about inheritances and why we should give the subject a lot of thought before doing what is expected. Niknot.

Really kept my interest
I enjoyed this and listened to it all in a couple of days. It was interesting hearing the different viewpoints and I could sympathise with most characters.

thank God my mother-in-law is nothing like her!
The narrator did a fabulous job bringing this book to life, in particular the mother-in-law. She certainly was a piece of work, but over the course of the book you find out her background and the side the kids and kids-in-law don't get to see. Enjoy finding a good novel based close to home.

Fantastic book
What a story with so many elements that were easy to follow thanks to The narrator doing an excellent job. Usually I take a week of passive listening to finish a book like this, but I finished it in a single day. Unable to turn it off.

Had me on my toes
This book kept me on my toes and I couldn’t stop listening! I thought I’d guessed what had happened to her about 10 times and I changed my mind but I didn’t guess it at all! Was a great plot twist and this is the second book I’ve loved from Sally and am on to the next one. I highly recommend!!

Fabulous story
Great story, I powered through this in 24 hours. Couldn’t stop listening.
Voice actor was good, I loved the posh Australian accent for certain characters, but sometimes got lost on whether it was internal dialogue or something being said to others. Most likely cause this is a book and not a podcast

Enjoyable story
I really enjoyed this story. It was a bit more of a slow burn however it was a lovely story about the relationship between family members and being supportive of your family in various ways.
