About this listen
The Master's Handiwork is a mentoring book. Perhaps the word discipleship would be more descriptive. God designed the older, more experienced saints to instruct the younger ones in order to assure that new ground could be covered quickly, and old mistakes would not need to be repeated. Dr. Klick shares a variety of Biblical insights gained from over 30 years in the ministry with clarity and a dash of humor. Having been married for over 37 years and having 10 grandchildren, Dr. Klick believes experience is not always gained through victory but also is achieved through our failures, and both have been included in this book. One purpose of mentoring or discipling is to challenge the thought processes of those who are following us (or, in the case of a book, reading our words). We all think, and we all act out those thoughts minute by minute as we walk through our days, but do our thoughts really line up with the scripture? In The Master's Handiwork, chapters are presented to help expand, renew, and refine our thought processes. Saturated with biblical references, this book lays a multifaceted foundation to build a strong faith and life for Christ. From how to read and understand scripture properly to wondering if Paul wore a toga, you will encounter many thought-provoking ideas and challenging concepts. As you read The Master's Handiwork, you will be drawn closer to Christ. The Christian life is a journey full of pleasure and pain, but God is our Father and the Master Craftsman, and he does not make junk or mistakes. We are neither; we are his handiwork, and God is not finished with us yet; we are works in progress that he will complete!
