Not good
I recently listened to an audiobook designed for HR managers, and I have to say, it left me with mixed feelings. Firstly, the content seems to be tailored more towards a general or international audience, lacking specific relevance to Australian HR practices and regulations. This oversight is particularly noticeable given the unique legal and cultural landscape of Australia’s workforce, which can differ significantly from other countries.
Moreover, the presentation of the material could be more engaging. While the book covers various aspects of HR management, its delivery felt monotonous and lacked the dynamic flair that often helps in absorbing complex information. As an HR manager, keeping up with engaging and relevant material is crucial, and unfortunately, this book didn’t hit the mark in that regard.
