The Magical Meal is a short story about a grumpy old innkeeper named Kaymos, who lives with his loving daughter, Hadley, and sweet granddaughter, Lila. Kaymos’ heart has become hardened with age, and it saddens Hadley and Lila.
The old man bickers and complains and just can't seem to find any happiness in his life. His family loves him dearly, but miss the loving man he once was. Hadley and Lila decide something must be done! They cook up a delicious meal for Kaymos, with some special secret ingredients that produce some surprising and magical effects.
