About this listen
Audible presents The Magadh Mystery, an Audible Original. Vidya is a young archaeologist who has spent her entire childhood listening to the stories of the Magadh Mystery, but neither Vidya nor her brother believed these stories. When Vidya’s father-like colleague found some inscriptions from the Magadh Dynasty during an excavation and was killed soon after, she had no choice but to set out on this journey to unravel the Magadh Mystery.

a good story, well executed
Although not my usual genre, I thoroughly enjoyed this. The story was interesting, speckled with mythology, legend, archeologists, familial legend, double dealing criminals and a treasure hunt.
Not predictable and written to keep the listeners interest, without delving in to far fetched scenarios.
Defs worth a listen.

Really not sure about this one
This was odd. I think I enjoyed it but let a lot of the details just pass me by. I liked hearing the Indian accents. Spotted the twist early on, which I don't usually look for unless I'm bored...

Great narration, well plotted
Not the usual (boring) mystery plot. The accents of narrators were convincingly Indian but easy to understand and dialogue and story were easy to follow, despite unfamiliar background. Can't comment on whether this would be believable to someone who knows anything about Indian archaeology.

surprising
I wasn't entirely sure about the readers once I realised they had indian accents. but I was pleasantly surprised. The story was set in India so it seemed fitting. In parts I had to listen to the story as I found ocasionally got a bit lost but apart from that it was a really interesting story ⭐
