Editorial reviews

Fans of history will love this edition of iMinds, wherein listeners are not only given access to the masterpieces inside the world-famous Parisian museum, but they are also taken on a historical tour of the Louvre edifice itself, which was both a fortress and a royal palace before it housed works of art like Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Listeners will be eager to see the Louvre's acquisitions in person after this episode, but if this audio encyclopedia entry is as close as they physically come to Paris, they're not doing so badly. Australian actress Margo Knight lends her mature and well-rationed voice to the narration, which is further enhanced by background chamber music.

Critic Reviews

"I'm learning all sorts of stuff about stuff I didn't even know I didn't know. And it sticks. In a nutshell: wonderful." (Jonathon Margolis, Financial Times)
