As always, superb storytelling. Rich and vibrant descriptions. Jonathan Keeble brings the characters alive. Highly recommend

Having watched The Last Kingdom, I understand the characters which it more meaningful to me.

Superb Narrater
This a a great story and I have enjoyed the history lesson that has come with it. However, the superb narration by Jonathan Keeble is what makes this story come alive.

Great third book in series
This is the third book in the series. This time it moves to Northumbria and focuses on the leaders and their fortresses. Perfect story telling and delivery.

This bloke brings the story to life , best Narrator I've listened too , the bloke that does the Wilber Smith books is not to bad either 👍

a great story page-turning lots of adventure and a

Will Miss Jonathon Keeble...
These books are amazing, so much different from the TV series. It is possible to see where they played cut and paste with various plot points and characters, and embellished here and there, but the audio of the full story is just a delight to listen to. Am hoping the new bloke who does the rest is as good...
