Publisher's Summary
Perfect for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Katie Marsh and Marian Keyes, Olivia Beirne's The List That Changed My Life takes its listeners on a hilarious and heartwarming journey of a lifetime, showing us what it means to really be alive.
Georgia loves wine, reality TV and sitting on the sofa after work. She does not love heights, looking at her bank account and going on dates or activities that involve sports bras, and she will never, ever take a risk.
That is until her braver, bolder big sister finds out that she won't be able to tick off the things she wanted to do before turning 30 and turns to Georgia to help her finish her list.
With the birthday just months away, Georgia suddenly has a deadline to learn to grab life with both hands. Could she be brave enough to take the leap - for her sister?
And how might her own life change if she did?

Lovely story
I enjoyed the journey of this book. It covers several types of relationships each with challenges. Good to listen to, not too heavy even though it tackles sad things.

Main character is painful
The book was ok, the premise was good, but the main character was so painful to even listen to. I finished to book but I didn’t want to.

Light, heartwarming story, but slow and strained
This was an enjoyable story.
I found the humour often fell short of the mark and quips and jibs were cheesy and not quite funny, but the story had twists and turns and heart warming character development. Felt a bit slow at times and each new chapter recounted the list verbatim which didn’t translate well from written word to audiobook.
Overall, happy to have listened it but felt I persevered with the often annoying but eventually endearing main character. I honestly sped up the pace to 1.3 to get through slow patches.

Shocking
Goes no where fast. Doesn’t engage but does a good job of boring you. Pass

Painful
I really thought this book would turn around but it didn’t. The idea of the narrative is great but the execution is not. The main character is both underdeveloped and over baked at the same time. Very little to like about her.
The narrator is very slow, so if you do download this book recommend increasing speed
