About this listen
The sequel to FLIPSIDE! Book two in the JACK OF ALL series!
The lighthouse is cursed. The keeper is missing.
Captain Decker Donald is perfectly content in his isolated misery, until he receives news that his friend and former colleague has vanished. Decker intends to get to the bottom of his friend’s disappearance, and more importantly, keep the light on.
Harriet was looking forward to being posted alongside her father, but he was gone before she arrived, and there is something wrong in the tower.
Stenner Braunn commands the Daylight Crew. Their ship is headed east, with nothing but ancient ruins to guide their way. He has doubts about their journey, but his job is to kill, not to think. Especially with the Night Crew watching.
Something is pulling at their strings, dragging them toward the Lighthouse at the End of the World.

A Beacon of Brilliance
Leumas Llewtnac’s Lighthouse at the End of the World is one of those rare books that captures you immediately. Having followed his writing journey closely, I can say this novel truly highlights his talent in crafting vivid, haunting landscapes and characters that linger with you long after you’ve read the final page. There’s such a natural flow to his prose—it’s sharp, poetic, and perfectly captures the eerie beauty of the isolated lighthouse setting.
One thing I particularly loved (without spoiling anything!) is how the protagonist’s name reflects Llewtnac’s signature wit. Let’s just say, it’s definitely the name of a character created by an author, not one given by any mother! It’s these small, cheeky touches that add depth and personality to his writing, even in the most suspenseful scenes.
And if you’re an audiobook lover, you’re in for a real treat. Not only is Leumas a brilliant writer, but his voice acting is exceptional. Hearing him bring his own words to life adds a whole new dimension to the experience. His narration captures the tension, the subtle humour, and the deep emotion of the story so perfectly—it’s like the book was meant to be read aloud by him all along.
The pacing is another standout for me. Leumas has this incredible ability to balance introspective, quieter moments with intense, edge-of-your-seat action, never letting one overshadow the other. The symbolism of the lighthouse is rich but never heavy-handed, perfectly reflecting themes of isolation, hope, and resilience.
It’s been amazing to see how much he’s grown as a storyteller with each book, and Lighthouse at the End of the World is a testament to that. If you’re looking for something that’s both thought-provoking and gripping, this is a novel that will absolutely stick with you—and the audiobook takes it to another level entirely.

Another great listen from this creative mind
No better way to experience the new saga than from the Authors own mouth! Engaging and twisted, it was hard to stop listening. The play on sounds give this expanding world so much more depth. Loved it, can't wait for the next!
