About this listen
After a year of fighting across three different lands, Dante and Blays have finally brought Gladdic to justice - and in the process, they've unleashed a horror beyond all reckoning.
The enemy is known as the White Lich. He is ancient. He is immensely powerful. And Gladdic believes he will soon enslave all of Tanar Atain.
Their only chance to defeat him is to strike fast, before the lich has regained his power. But attacking him directly would be suicide. Instead, Gladdic has an alternative. Once upon a time, the lich was human, with a mortal body. Gladdic believes that original body is still out there, hidden somewhere in the swamps.
If they can find it and kill it, then the lich should die with it. But if they fail, the White Lich will rip the souls from the people of Tanar Atain - and turn his gaze on the rest of the world.

a bit dragged out
though it's still a great storyline it felt a little stagnant until the end where it picked up again. Don't think it was as good as the last book but still looking forward to where the story leads next.

The Best I've Read
I'm quite widely read, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the best book I've ever read. The author takes the antagonist of the second book and shows how his world view is destroyed and reformed anew, at which point he moves from antagonist to mentor and companion.
The book is conpletely written from the mains characters' points of view, the extraneous secondary character perspectives are removed completely, and the book returns to the primary characters' camraderie that I first fell in love with.
If you have gotten this far in the series, you probably know you're in for witty writing and morally complex characters, but this is the best in the series by far.

lots of dialog
The action continues and ever expands, creating more characters and possibilities...but the flippant chatter is incessant. I am used to it, but every now and then it grates. As to Gladdic's role in the saga...well
