Thought provoking

Fascinating and very useful book on decisions around giving. Led me to the also useful website to actually choose effective charities to give to. The stories illustrating our choices are very interesting too.

Changed the way I give

It's very thought provoking and it's one of those rare books which has you question your life. I think those are the best books to read over and again!

Impactful

Important and meaningful book that changed the way I viewed philanthropy. Thought provoking and sometimes uncomfortable - but in a way that pushes you out of your comfort zone to a better place.

Too preachy

Not what I expected from this book, felt way too preachy that it lost my midway into chapter 2. Also didn't appreciate the religion references
