Publisher's Summary

  • Why Genesis remains critically important in presenting the Gospel
  • How the biblical account of Creation impacts your understanding of Scripture and worldview
  • Why evolution does not and cannot fit within the biblical timeline of history

In 1987 Ken Ham wrote what would become a prophetic warning to the Church about the destructive effects of compromise with evolutionary ideas, and how this compromise undermines Scriptural authority and erodes Christian confidence in the infallibility of God's Word. Today we have Christians not only confused when it comes to Genesis and age of the earth, but even the reality of Hell, Adam as a real person, and Christ's own words about creation, marriage and more are being debated in the pulpits across the world. In this special revised and updated edition, Ken Ham again takes the lead in pointing out the looming precipice the Church is rushing towards, how evolution and/or millions of years, is driving away young people of the faith, and the biblical solution that can change it!

A perfect title

The Lie is just that! It is an insanely biased and one sided (very unfairly and unreasonably) view of the subject. This isn’t a discussion or debate in Ken Hams opinion and so there is no attempt to view in any proper way any of the counter arguments, nor is there any respect given to the people it argues against. The only proof given is presented as the bible verifying the bible (as it would). It uses remarks taken out of context and shown with extreme bias to ‘prove’ the authors points with no serious reflection on the topic or comments. Many arguments and discussions are passed over completely and in their place Ken repeats his very small and narrow minded points again and again. Please use your time to listen to or read any other genuine books on this subject and don’t waste your time here.
