Gripping and fun story
At times had trouble turning the light off and getting some sleep.....story a mix of creatures and characters. Which in themselves had multiple lead characters. Ends with you needing to know more........

Masterful writing and Amazing delivery
couldn't put it down, from the very opening sentence to the closing paragraph I was completely transported into the story. can't wait to listen to the series!

Brilliant
Absolutely love this book! Characters are very easy to empathise with. Twists and turns galore! Very well narrated!L lovers of a good fantasy book will be very happy!

Not sure about this one yet
Normally I don’t like stories that mix real world with fantasy world, but so far the real world was kept at a minimum, so I kept listening. I found the three Americans hard to like, but Kael grew on me and Ember too a bit. Can’t stand Max, utterly irritating arrogance. But the story is gripping, so will try the next book. Narration is good.
