not the ending I hoped for
I had hoped as the last book we would find out what Katy does. bit of a cliffhanger for a last book.

Great book
The narrator is the best and makes the book so much better. It was an interesting book and didn’t want to put it down.

none of the good style of previous in series
if I'd picked this book up first, I'd never have read any others in the series. it doesn't even feel like the same author wrote it. No wonder he is saying is last in series. I think he is bored with it. However if it the last, it's a terrible ending. No respect for this story at all.

What was the point?
I don’t know what happened with this so called finale. It’s like Masterton just couldn’t be bothered finishing it. A real disservice to the characters and fans who had followed along all these years. Don’t read this, let it’s predecessor be how you remember the Katie Maguire series.
