Great narration, nice but not brilliant story
While this is easy and relaxing to listen too and beautifully narrated the story was predictable and at times the fighting repetitive. It suited the mood I was in but not the best book ever. Did make me want to go to Ireland though.

An excellent listen
Awesome setting with well developed characters and relationships. And, as the title suggests, a couple of courageous, if slightly eccentric, but nevertheless wise women at its centre. An intriguing storyline with a backdrop of historic injustice kept me keen to the end. Excellent narrator with lilting Irish accents.
