يصر الوالد على رجوع الفتى إلى الضيعة ويستسلم هو لقدره ليبقى الجسد هناك نهشا للضباع، بينما صدى كلماته الأخيرة ورحلة عذابات طويلة ماثلة لدى طنوس!!

من يومها والفتى يبحث عن روحه التي ضاعت هناك ولا يجدها. جاب الدير يبحث عن قديس يجعله قديسًا كما جده، وليرتحل في أماكن كثيرة، بيد أنه في الخاتمة وكما بدأ سيناريو الرعب تمضي حياته مثل بغلة أبيه -في تلك الليلة المأساة- تسير المنحدر باتجاه النهاية.
