Heroic Fantasy at its best
What can I say about this audiobook? I have read and reread King beyond the Gate several times, but hearing it read is a whole other experience. David Gemmell never lets down his audience. Action, love, war, and philosophy. The characters are well rounded and the narrator reads it in a way that envelopes you within the world of Dreni urging the characters on. You will love, laugh and cry with this book. I did.

good taking, great book
I already loved this book and the audiobook didn't disappoint! great reading too, although the accents for Renya sometimes felt off.

Brilliant.
Another story from my youth and there is nothing better than listening to a David Gemmel novel I injoyed it immensely and will be listening to all I can get again brilliant all people interested in fantasy novel these should be top of your list.

The heir of Legend
The world has changed somewhat since Legend but once you get oriented it's another cracking yarn from Gemmell! Druss would be proud.
