Jake Boulder’s help is requested when his friend’s family is crucified and burned.

When a woman’s body is discovered, Boulder realises the murders have something unusual in common. After a young couple is snatched, the case takes a more brutal turn. Mary sue protagonist and exploitative story

The main character is witty at times. Shame he’s such a mary sue. He not only knows better than the cops, he knows best what the hacker should hack, what the journalist should write etc etc. No one is as smart as this guy. The story tries to have social value, but the execution is sick and more grindhouse than a serious exploration of the evil men do. I never return books to audible but I’m returning this one.
